Crypto bonuses: Coinbase's US first-buy incentive
Coinbase's public US incentive offers eligible new users a random Bitcoin reward after a first single crypto purchase of at least $50. It is not a guaranteed $2,000 payment. Trading fees, spread and market risk remain.
| Provider | Public incentive | Qualifying action | Important limit | Last checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coinbase | Random $10-$2,000 in Bitcoin under published terms | First single purchase at least $50 | 99% receive $10-$100; cannot stack other offers | 3 Oct 2026 |
Why only Coinbase?
This first edition covers one verified US crypto incentive. It is not a claim that no other exchange runs a promotion and is not a ranking of exchanges. More providers require their own current-source checks.
Is the reward cash?
The documented incentive pays Bitcoin. Its value can change after deposit. The headline maximum is not the usual outcome: Coinbase states 99% of users receive between $10 and $100.
Can the bonus make a trade risk-free?
No. Fees and spread affect the entry cost, crypto prices can move, and FDIC deposit insurance does not cover crypto assets. A reward does not remove those risks.
